When trying to import data (Like an excel file) into access a wizard should start. Sometimes the wizard does not start and instead gives an error.
The following steps can solve this issue:
1. Go to the Trust Center by Clicking on File ->Access Options->Trust Center->Trust Center Settings->Go to Trusted Locations
2. If the path C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\ACCWIZ is not listed under the User Locations, add it as follows:
3. Click Add New Location->Browse->Go to the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\ACCWIZ.
4. Close out of the Trust Center, exit Microsoft Access and then reopen it.
Depending on the office version the ACCWIZ folder can also be located in: “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\Office15\”
